Memorial Day is Monday, May 31, 2027. Boynton Beach marks it with a veterans ceremony at the city’s Memorial Park, organized by the Boynton Beach Veterans Task Force with the city. In 2024 and 2026 it was held on the Sunday before Memorial Day.

Flag planting: The Veterans Task Force places flags at the graves of veterans buried at the park, and invites volunteers to help (2026 listing).
Ceremony: The annual Memorial Day veterans ceremony is free and open to the public (2026 listing). In 2024 it was held near the mausoleum, under the overhang, with tents and seating (2024 listing).

South Florida National Cemetery
The 338-acre national cemetery at 6501 S. State Road 7, west of Boynton Beach between Lantana Road and Boynton Beach Boulevard, is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Artificial flowers and potted plants (not glass or ceramic) are allowed on the grass for five days before and after Memorial Day, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs cemetery page.
