Spring break in Boynton Beach 2027: school dates and things to do

Palm Beach County public schools are on spring break March 22-26, 2027. There is also a one-day spring holiday, with no school, on Wednesday, March 10, 2027. Easter Sunday follows on March 28. Private schools and colleges set their own breaks.

Camps

The city had not posted a 2027 spring break camp as of Oct. 8. Its school-break camps, such as the Holiday Break Camp for ages 5 to 12 at the Carolyn Sims Center, appear on the city’s camps page when registration opens. Boca Raton, about 11 miles south, runs seasonal camps listed on its camps page.

Things to do

The beach: Oceanfront Park, 6415 N. Ocean Blvd. Open every day, sunrise to 9 p.m., with lifeguards 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is $3.50 an hour. Sea turtle nesting season starts March 1, so fill in holes and stay off the dunes (Oceanfront Park page).

Schoolhouse Children’s Museum, 129 E. Ocean Ave. Hands-on exhibits for young children in the historic schoolhouse downtown, open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday. Admission is $10 for children over 12 months, $8 for adults and $7 for seniors 62 and up; members and babies under 12 months are free, and the museum takes part in Museums for All ($4 each for up to four family members with an EBT card), per its visit page.

John H. Denson Pool, 225 NW 12th Ave. Open swim 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday from mid-August through May. Daily entry is free for resident children 4 to 12 with a paying adult; adults are $3 for residents (pool page).

Boynton Beach City Library, 100 E. Ocean Ave. Open 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; closed Sunday (library page).

What is open

Spring break is a school break, not a public holiday: it is not on the library’s closure list or the city’s holiday pickup schedule, so the library and trash pickup follow their normal schedules.
