The city’s egg hunt: Egg-stravaganza
The City of Boynton Beach Recreation & Parks Department’s free spring festival, Egg-stravaganza, has games, activities, photo spots and egg hunts by age.
The 2026 Egg-stravaganza was 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Ezell Hester Jr. Community Park, 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd. A free shuttle ran between the Hester Center and the gravel lot behind the Arts & Cultural Center, 125 E. Ocean Ave. The 2026 hunt times, from the city’s event listing:
| Time (2026) | Ages |
|---|---|
| 11 a.m. | 0 to 2 |
| Noon | 3 to 5 |
| 12:30 p.m. | 6 to 8 |
| 1 p.m. | 9 to 12 |
In 2025 the event was held at Centennial Park and Amphitheater, 120 E. Ocean Ave., next to City Hall, on April 19 (2025 listing), so the place can change from year to year. 2027 dates are not out yet; we will add them when the city posts them.
Other egg hunts
Churches, homeowners associations and neighboring cities hold their own egg hunts. We list them when the organizer posts the date on its own page. Send us yours.
Easter services
We add Good Friday, sunrise and Easter Sunday services that are open to the community when the host church posts them on its own site for 2027. Check your own church’s website or call it for times.
Easter brunch
We list Easter brunches only from restaurants’ own websites and menus, and none had posted 2027 plans as of Oct. 8. For restaurants that serve weekend brunch year-round, see our brunch guide.
