New Year’s Eve is Thursday, Dec. 31, 2026. Boynton Beach has no city New Year’s Eve event or fireworks on its 2026 calendar. The nearest public fireworks we can confirm are in downtown West Palm Beach, about 15 miles north, and Boca Raton holds a midday party for children.

Fireworks: West Palm Beach waterfront

For New Year’s Eve 2025, the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority and the Flagler Museum put on a 15-minute fireworks show over the Intracoastal Waterway at midnight, after a free party on the Great Lawn at 100 N. Clematis St. from 8 p.m. to midnight with live music, a DJ, and food and drinks for sale, according to the DDA’s 2025 New Year’s guide. The city’s Holiday in Paradise season ends with that party.

2026 dates are not out yet. We will update this section when the DDA or the city of West Palm Beach posts them.

For kids: Noon Year’s Eve in Boca Raton

Noon Year’s Eve Party, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Sugar Sand Park Community Center in Boca Raton, about 11 miles south. For ages 4 to 9: a DJ with kid-friendly pop music, party games, crafts, glitter tattoos and a countdown to a noon ball drop, with snacks, hot chocolate for the children and coffee and tea for adults. Fireworks at home

Florida law, section 791.08, allows consumer fireworks on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, but check your homeowners association rules, keep water nearby and never point fireworks at people, homes or the dunes. Call 911 for any fire.
