Mexican food in Boynton Beach sits on three roads: East Ocean Avenue downtown, where there is one sit-down Mexican restaurant; North Congress Avenue, from the mall south to Boynton Beach Boulevard; and South Federal Highway, where a taco shop shares the strip with two chains.
How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Boynton Beach’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and added places from the state’s restaurant inspection file for Palm Beach County. Places with a Boynton Beach mailing address in unincorporated Palm Beach County, west of the city, are not here. We checked each place against its own website on Oct. 9, 2026. A place with no website of its own is listed only because the state inspected it at that address since July 1. Chili’s on North Congress Avenue is no longer on the chain’s own location list, so it is not here. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. The places
Chipotle has two restaurants inside the city: one on North Congress Avenue near Gateway Boulevard and one on South Federal Highway. Both pages offer online ordering.
Delicious Tacos is on South Federal Highway. The state inspected it in August.
Moe’s Southwest Grill on North Congress Avenue, south of Gateway Boulevard, is a fast-casual chain for burritos, bowls and tacos, with online ordering on its page.
Paloma Mexican Restaurant on East Ocean Avenue describes itself as handcrafted Mexican cuisine. It is the only sit-down Mexican restaurant on this list downtown, and it lists happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Taco Bell has two restaurants inside the city. The one at 801 N. Congress Ave. is at the Boynton Beach Mall, with shorter mall hours. The one on South Federal Highway has a drive-thru and is open until 3 or 4 a.m., its page says.
Talkin’ Tacos is on North Congress Avenue north of Boynton Beach Boulevard. The state inspected it in July. The web address under its name is for sale, so we list it with no website.
