Trunk-or-treat
Trunk-or-treats, where cars park in a lot with decorated trunks and children go car to car, are big in the South. Boynton Beach’s largest is the police department’s.
BOO with the Blue: Trunk or Treat, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Boynton Beach Police Department, 2100 High Ridge Road. It is free. Children collect candy from themed police vehicles. There are SWAT, Fire Rescue and Crime Prevention displays, music, food trucks, a bounce house and a photo booth, with officers from units including K9, Crime Scene and Traffic on hand, according to the department’s event page.
Churches, schools and homeowners associations hold their own; we add public ones here when the organizer posts the date. Send us yours.
