The city’s Mother’s Day Luncheon

In 2026 the luncheon was 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at Intracoastal Park, 2240 N. Federal Highway: an “elegant lunch” with a view of the Intracoastal Waterway, and a flower for each mother. Tickets were $20 for residents and $25 for nonresidents, sold online, according to the city’s event listing. Note that it was held the Saturday a week before Mother’s Day. 2027 dates are not out yet; we will add them when the city posts them.

Outings

Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, 4000 Morikami Park Road, Delray Beach. Japanese gardens, a lake and a museum west of Delray Beach. It is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and closed Mondays and major holidays. Admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors 65 and up and military, $14 for college students and $12 for children 6 to 17; children 5 and under and members are free, per its hours and admission page. Check its site in spring for any Mother’s Day programs.

Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands, 12800 Hagen Ranch Road. A morning walk on 1.5 miles of boardwalk, open sunrise to sunset; the nature center is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday (county page).
